1982: • Established Bando Craftworkers
1987: • Moved to a new building in August, located at 469-1, Yangji, Onam-eup, Namyangjoo-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea
1990: • Construction of a new 120-pyeong (aboveground, 60 pyeong) storage facility at 469-18 Yangji-ri, Jinjeop-eup
1991: • Obtained the Korea Household Item Testing Institute’s certification Q mark
1992: • Joined KFTA’s trade business as a member company; • Established a three-complex second production factory at 521-7, Parya-ri, Jinjeop-eup, Namyangjoo-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea
1993: • Bando Co., Ltd. established by CEO Kim Soo Dong on July 1; • Joined the Korea Furniture Cooperative as a member company on October 17; • Entered the Small and Medium Enterprise Cooperatives permanent exhibition center on October 30
1996: • Entered Seoul City’s Furniture Cooperative Western Exhibition Room. Entered Seoul City’s Furniture Cooperative Yeoeuido Exhibition Room
2001: • Participated in the Kyunghyan Housing Fair and Living Design Fair; • Broadcasted on SME TV Exhibition and Home Shopping TV (channel 39)
2007: • Awarded as a Model Taxpayer, selected for the Korea Institute of Design Promotion (Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy) Good Design (GD mark)
2008: • Obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification, registered for intellectual property (two patent types)
2009: • Certified as a venture company, Inno-biz technology innovation-type SME, and promising SME in Gyeonggido
2010: • Participated in the G-FAIR 2010, established the Seoul branch, exported to Japan’s Iris Oyama
2011: • Selected as superior business brand for Seoul City’s HiSeoul, participated in the Focused Support Promising Furniture Project
2012: • Contracted a design development deal with Northern Gyeonggi Specialization Project (Kaywon University of Art and Design); • Obtained ISO14001 Environment Management certificate, selected as G-Design Development Support Project
2013: • Selected as an IP star business (utilization and development of intellectual property, patents, design); • Exported to Singapore and Malaysia, contracted with Small and Medium Business Administration‘s Fair Technology Development Enhancement Project
